From specialised alarm bags for safety of women to multipurpose agriculture robots and anti-suicide life-saving gadgets, children from different schools gathered at the International Convention Centre on the banks of Dal Lake in Srinagar, showcasing over 75 projects of over 200 students.
The day-long programme was organised by Pi Jam Foundation in collaboration with Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Ayog, UNICEF and Department of School Education in J&K. The programme named ‘Pragaash’ aimed to highlight the potential of technological innovation using STEM education to craft local solutions with global relevance.
The students, guided by their teachers, were inspired to blend innovation with culture and strive for eco-friendly and sustainable solutions, through their projects. They were seeking help to prepare pitches and attract investors for their projects.
