Taapsee Pannu has finally confirmed her marriage to Danish badminton player Mathias Boe. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, the ‘Haseen Dilruba’ actress admitted that she tied the knot with Boe in Udaipur, but also maintained that she did not share pictures as she wanted the wedding to be a private affair.
The ‘Dunki’ actress was asked if she planning to share candid pictures and behind-the-scenes of the event, to which she replied that she was not ready to expose her personal life and the people associated with it, to public scrutiny. “I just am not very sure if I want to let my personal life and the people involved in it, to go through the kind of scrutiny that happens when a public figure gets married. It’s me who has signed up for this, not my partner, not the people who were involved in the wedding. I am not sure about how I feel about it being out there, that’s why I’ve kept it to myself,” she told HT. “I have no plans for a release of any kind. In the future, if I get comfortable sharing about it (wedding details), we will figure out how, what, and when I want to release something if at all..” she added.
The actress also clarified that she never intended to keep the wedding a secret. “The people who are genuinely close to me were a part of the celebration and always knew about my relationship and my intentions about when and how I want to get married,” she said.
She added that she did not want her wedding to be a public spectacle as she knew, that she had no control over how it would be perceived.
