In an interview with Pinkvilla, the actor stated that this disappearance was not caused by financial insolvency, but to distance himself from his near & dear ones for some time.
“There comes a time when you distance yourself from your family and the world. I had been hurt by my near and dear ones, despite trying to get work. I was continuously facing rejections,” he told the news publication.
Singh also addressed rumours of him being debt-ridden. He admitted that although he had some loans to pay, he had obtained money from friends to pay off EMIs and bank loans. “I didn’t disappear because I was in debt or because of my inability to repay the loan. Karz toh mujhpar aaj bhi hai (I still have loans to pay). Niyat meri acchi hai aur udhar lekar abhi tak mein credit card and EMIs ki payment kiye jaraha hoon (My intentions are good. I am borrowing money from people to pay credit card bills and bank EMIs),” he told the news portal.
Singh claimed that the 25-day sabbatical has made him more worldly wise and financially literate. He cautioned people not to get caught in a vicious cycle of loans. “I have transformed as a person. Maine 25 din mein
