Tata Elxsi shares drop 0.3% as Sensex falls

Tata Elxsi Ltd. traded at Rs 6919.4 on BSE at 10:40AM (IST) on Friday, down 0.3 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 6406.6 and a high of Rs 9191.1.
Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap down opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 54.71 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 126.48 per share and 19.34 times its book value, as per BSE data.
A total of 960 shares changed hands on the counter till 10:40AM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 43096.54 crore and is part of the IT Consulting & Software — Mid Cap industry.
The scrip has been an underperformer, down 4.11 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 21.73 per cent gain in Sensex.
During the day, the stock moved between Rs 6942.95 and Rs 6892.95.
Promoter/FII Holding Promoters held 43.92 per cent in the company as of 30-Jun-2024. FII and MF ownership in Tata Elxsi Ltd. stood at 13.67 per cent and 1.11 per cent, respectively.
