Tata Power shares gain 1.02% as Sensex rises
Tata Power Company Ltd. traded at Rs 235.0 on BSE at 10:35AM (IST) on Tuesday, up 1.02 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 182.45 and a high of Rs 251.0.
Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening. At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 22.42 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 10.44 per share and 2.11 times its book value, as per BSE data. A total of 70,194 shares changed hands on the counter till 10:35AM (IST).
The stock commands a market value of Rs 74802.9 crore and is part of the Power — Integrated industry. The scrip has been an underperformer, up 2.93 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 13.08 per cent gain in Sensex. During the day, the stock moved between Rs 236.5 and Rs 233.85.Promoter/FII Holding Promoters held 46.86 per cent in the company as of 30-Jun-2023.
