The drama began when Baldoni, 40, filed a $400 million countersuit against Lively, 37, who had accused him of sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment during the production of It Ends With Us. In a surprising twist, Baldoni claimed that Lively had enlisted her close friend Taylor Swift, 35, to pressure him into accepting certain script edits.
Baldoni’s countersuit alleges that Swift attended a meeting and “praised” Lively’s writing, a move he interpreted as an attempt to sway his creative decisions. Text messages allegedly reflecting Swift’s involvement were also submitted as part of the case, though her name was not explicitly mentioned.
Sources close to Swift, however, have dismissed the claims as baseless.
