On August 31, 2023, Taylor Swift announced through her social media handles that a concert film on The Eras Tour will be released in theaters. She said on Twitter / X, «The Eras Tour has been the most meaningful, electric experience of my life so far and I’m overjoyed to tell you that it’ll be coming to the big screen soon. Starting Oct 13th you’ll be able to experience the concert film in theaters in North America!»
Saying this, she shared a link to a page where there were four links to different ticketing apps, out of which one was AMC. «Tickets are on sale now at (link)….», she said.
She added that fans could attend the concert movie screening wearing the Taylor Swift merchandise or Era-themed dresses and friendship bracelets. She urged fans to sing along and dance. «Eras attire, friendship bracelets, singing and dancing encouraged 1, 2, 3 LGB!!! (iykyk)».
As a result of sharing the link and because of The Eras Tour movie buzz, the AMC app faced a crash for sometime due to the high demand for The Eras Tour concert movie tickets from Swifties, who are Taylor Swift fans.
When is the Taylor Swift Concert Movie Releasing?
The Taylor Swift concert movie for The Eras Tour 2023 will be released on October 13, 2023, in every US AMC Theatre. It will also run in Cineplex and Cinemark. The movie will run in each US AMC Theatre location four times per day on four days that is on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
