Naidu hails from Andhra Pradesh and is affiliated with Chief Minister-designate Chandrababu Naidu's party, which played a pivotal role in securing the BJP's return to power in the 2024 Lok Sabha election.
At 36 years of age, Ram Mohan Naidu represents the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) as a Member of Parliament from Andhra Pradesh's Srikakulam Lok Sabha constituency, making him the youngest-ever Minister in Modi Cabinet 3.0.
Additionally, he has held the position of national general secretary within the TDP and served as the party's floor leader in the previous Lok Sabha. Recognized for his outstanding performance as an MP, he was awarded the Sansad Ratna Award in 2020.
