Tejas Networks has said it is continuing to ramp up shipments of 4G Radio Access Network (RAN) to Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), and has received an additional purchase order of Rs 107 crore for additional sites as part of the state-run mobile operator's fourth-generation network build out.
«We continue to see good business traction, both for our wireless as well as our wireline business.
On the wireless segment, we continued to ramp up our BSNL 4G RAN shipments, and several thousand systems have been shipped which are a combination of single and dual-band radios in Band 1 and Band 28,» said Arnob Roy, Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Whole-Time Director, Tejas Network, at the company's Q3 FY24 post-earnings call.
«Also we received additional purchase order of Rs 107 crore for additional sites as part of the network build-out for BSNL 4G,» Roy said.
For the BSNL 4G network, the Bengaluru-headquartered firm has also started supplying the backhaul equipment of IP/MPLS routers.
