In light of the ongoing weather conditions, Cyberabad Police have advised IT and ITES companies to allow employees to work from home on September 2 to reduce the risks associated with commuting and to alleviate traffic congestion, ensuring that emergency services can operate without obstruction.
Due to continuous heavy rainfall, significant disruptions have been reported on key routes in the region. Based on inputs from the Superintendent of Police, Suryapet, and the Commissioner of Police, Khammam, the following advisory is issued for public safety.
Affected Routes:
NH 65 at Chillakallu and Nandigama, Andhra Pradesh: Heavy rainfall has caused flooding on the highway, making it impassable.
Paleru River at Nayakani Gudem (Suryapet to Khammam route): The river has overflowed onto the road, creating hazardous conditions.
Bridge Collapse at Ramapuram X Road (after Kodad Town, Suryapet District, Telangana): The bridge has collapsed, further complicating travel in the area.
Advisory: Postpone Travel — Citizens are strongly advised to delay their travel plans for safety reasons.
