Tesla camp, as recent reports reveal that Elon Musk's organization has downsized its employee count by at least 14% this year. The aggressive approach towards employee downsizing comes shortly after Musk had announced in April that Tesla will be doing away with its global workforce by a margin of 10% in the coming days.
According to the data available on December 31 last year, the employee count stood at 140,473 employees globally, that includes hourly as well as salaried workers. However, the updated count showed that there are only 121,000 people working for the organization as part of its global workforce, indicating a 14% dip in manpower, says a CNBC report.
