'The Acolyte', a sci-fi TV series, belongs to the Star Wars Universe and is set in the timeline before the primary Star Wars films released till now. It is set in the High Republic Era and follows a series of Jedi investigations into some trivial crimes that have occurred. A former Padawan joins forces with her Jedi Master to investigate these crimes but the forces they encounter and more challenging than they expected. It is to be seen from June onwards, how this interesting and gripping plotline fares with the Star Wars Universe fans.

The debut season of this series drops on June 4 this year and will premiere two of its episodes at one go exclusively on Disney+. The next episodes of the series will drop in weekly thereafter, according to reports.
