The Artful Dodger Season 2: Everything we know so far
Hulu have renewed The Artful Dodger for a second season. The Australian original series will continue to explore the adult life of Jack Dawkins, a character inspired by Charles Dickens’ Oliver Twist.
Cast
Thomas Brodie-Sangster will reprise his role as Jack Dawkins, also known as the Artful Dodger. Returning cast members include David Thewlis as Fagin and Maia Mitchell as Lady Belle Fox. They will join an ensemble of Australian and New Zealand actors.
Filming
The second season will begin production in 2025 at Callan Park, Sydney. The story will follow events from Season 1, promising more drama, humor and romance.

Storyline
The series, a modern continuation of Oliver Twist, focuses on Dodger’s double life as a surgeon and thief. Season 2 will revisit his relationships, struggles with his criminal past, and growing bond with Lady Belle, who aspires to become the first female surgeon.
