The Chosen Season 5: Here’s what we know about theatrical release, storyline and upcoming seasons
Theatrical Release
The Chosen: Last Supper will begin its theatrical release on March 27, 2025. It will roll out in the U.S. and Canada in three parts over four weeks. Part 1, containing Episodes 1 and 2, premieres first. Part 2, featuring Episodes 3, 4, and 5, will follow. Finally, Part 3, with Episodes 6, 7, and 8, concludes the theatrical release.

The series will expand internationally from April 10, 2025. The first part will be released in over 40 territories, including Brazil, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Italy and India. Streaming availability will follow later in the year.
Storyline
The storyline focuses on Jesus’ journey leading to the Last Supper. The logline reveals that Jesus challenges religious and political norms during a Jewish festival. His actions create tension with Israel's leaders, setting the stage for the final moments of his earthly life.
