Based on the novel by Erik Axl Sund, 'The Crow Girl' follows DCI Jeanette Kirkland (Eve Myles), who, alongside psychotherapist Sophia Craven (Katherine Kelly), investigates the discovery of a teenage boy's body. Despite facing resistance from her superiors, including DI Lou Stanley (Dougray Scott), Kirkland is determined to find the killer.

Katherine Kelly, known for 'Mr Bates vs the Post Office,' 'Liar,' and 'Inside No.9,' portrays the role of Sophia Craven. Dougray Scott, recognized for his work in 'Irvine Welsh's Crime' and 'Vigil,' plays DI Lou Stanley.
'The Crow Girl' marks Milly Thomas's first major television writing role. Thomas, known for her acting in 'The Crown' and 'Sex Education,' expressed her excitement for the project, calling the novel a «strange, twisty beast» and expressing joy in collaborating with Paramount+ and Buccaneer.
'The Crow Girl' is executive produced by Tony Wood and Richard Tulk-Hart, with Milly Thomas adapting the novel for screen. Charles Martin and Rebecca Rycroft serve as directors, and Andy Mosse is the producer. ITV Studios will handle international distribution.
