Consisting of eight episodes, the new season's storyline kicks off on Easter morning in 1883. She aims not only to establish herself in Society but to potentially assume a prominent role within it.
George Russell, facing a growing union at his steel plant in Pittsburgh, confronts his own battle. At the Brook House, Marian discreetly teaches at a girls' school while Ada initiates an unexpected courtship, much to everyone's astonishment, disapproved of by Agnes. Meanwhile, in Brooklyn, the Scott family begins recovering from a startling revelation, and Peggy engages her activist spirit through work at the NY Globe alongside T. Thomas Fortune.
