Vivek Agnihotri, recently got into a war of words with a few Twitter users, who asked him to make a movie named ‘Manipur Files’. The director tweeted how the Indian judiciary was oblivious to the plight of the Kashmiri Pandits when one Twitter user challenged him to make a movie on the Kashmiri Pandits. “Make a movie called the ‘Manipur Files’, if you are man enough,” wrote a Twitter user named ‘Wandere Ali’. One user wrote, “Hahaha everyone has faith in you. That's the price you have to pay after making superb movies like #TheKashmirFiles, eagerly waiting for #thevaccinewar now.” Others accused the director of having a political agenda. One Twitter user wrote, “So you agree you are part of «Team NDA»? f someone (assuming a fan of your genuine work) requests you to present the real story of Manipur, you will target him & put a tag/label? Why not present the reality of Manipur & if u don't wanna do it, then don't target/label people!!!”
