The Platform 2, the sequel to the dystopian horror hit The Platform. As part of their Geek Week celebrations, Netflix has released a chilling new trailer, giving fans a taste of what’s to come in this follow-up film.
With a cast led by Milena Smit (of The Snow Girl), Hovik Keuchkerian (Money Heist), Natalia Tena (Game of Thrones), and Óscar Jaenada (Luis Miguel: The Series), the film promises more suspense, horror, and social commentary, set to hit the streaming platform in just a few weeks on October 4, as per a report by Collider.
A Return to the Dreaded Prison
In The Platform 2, the story returns to the bleak vertical prison that shocked audiences worldwide in the first film. Once again, the premise revolves around a system where food is transported between floors, with those at the top of the tower receiving lavish portions, while those at the bottom are left starving.
Each month, prisoners are randomly assigned to new floors, forcing them to navigate a brutal class system where survival depends on pure luck and limited resources.
