Fans of The Wild Robot can pre-order Blu-ray and Ultra 4K HD DVD versions now. These will be available on December 3. The physical versions will include special bonus content. The extra content includes a 'Meet the Cast' feature, behind-the-scenes looks at the making of the film's music and a demonstration of how to draw the lead characters. There will also be a glimpse into the recording booth.
The Wild Robot tells the story of Roz, a ROZZUM unit robot. The robot mistakenly ends up on a remote island. Roz's function is to assist humans with tasks like chores or healing. But on this island, there are no humans. Roz adapts by learning to communicate with animals. Over time, Roz takes care of an orphaned Canada goose named Brightbill. The movie follows Roz teaching Brightbill how to fly for survival.
