However, several users on Twitter taking sides with Elon Musk have reacted on how the Meta’s new Threads app has been created. Recently, a Twitter user with the handle DogeDesigner (@cb_doge) mocked Meta’s new Threads app with his latest post.
His post showed a keyboard with copy and paste buttons, implying that Meta’s new app is similar to Twitter. Interestingly, Elon Musk has reacted to the post with a face with tears of joy emoji. Replying to DogeDesigner’s post, a Twitter user with name Alice in Wonderland commented, “Zucks threads ‘plural’." Another Twitter user with nameChe Guevara commented, “Within five minutes, I deactivated #ThreadsApp There's no way it can compete with #Twitter, I'm sure of it @elonmusk." To recall, Threads is a new app enabling text, link sharing, and interaction through replies and reposts.
Users can migrate their Instagram follower lists and account names, benefiting from the app's features “There should be a public conversations app with 1 billion-plus people on it," Meta Chief Executive Officer Mark Zuckerberg said Wednesday in a post on Threads. “Twitter has had the opportunity to do this but hasn’t nailed it. Hopefully we will." Adding to it Connor Hayes, a vice president of product, said that many of Instagram’s influential users have been asking the company to make a text-based app.
