Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard¸ being made the new hosts of This Morning, the ITV daytime show.
The pair will be replacing Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, leaving the disrupted show in May and October individually.
Schofield left after the reports of a conflict with Willoughby came out. A week later, he confessed of being untruthful surrounding an affair with a younger colleague. Five months later, Willoughby has left «for me and my family».

Shephard and Deeley are among the guest hosts to have filed in since then. It was said by Shephard that it was a very special moment to be a part of 'This Morning' permanently, with Deeley describing the show as a national institution.
Currently, they have been chosen as the new main hosts and will soon start presenting. In the coming month, This Morning will be helming the programs from Monday to Thursday.
Shephard has stated that being a part of This Morning perpetually was like a special moment. He further informed that for the past ten years, he has been waking up with their ITV daytime audience on GMB and is currently looking forward to spending time with Cat, greeting the audience homes after the run of the school or from the early morning routines of them, with a cup of tea and a mixture of everything making This Morning such a loved show.
