A Record-Breaking Milestone
According to Variety, Adolescence opened with an impressive 24.3 million views in its first four days. It continued to dominate Netflix’s English-language TV rankings, adding another 42 million views between March 17 and 23. This brought the total to 66.3 million views, setting a new milestone for the streaming giant.
The series outperformed other major Netflix titles during the week, including The Residence, a Shonda Rhimes-produced drama starring Uzo Aduba, which had 6.4 million views. Running Point followed in third place with 3.5 million views. Wrestling special Raw: 2025 secured the fourth spot with 3.1 million views, while political thriller Zero Day ranked fifth with 3 million views.
