This time too, Haryana dominated by dynastic battles and turncoats
Despite its small size, Haryana is known for its twists and turns in politics. And it witnessed another such twist when Ashok Tanwar joined Congress at a rally in Haryana in presence of Rahul Gandhi, just an hour after seeking votes for BJP in the upcoming Haryana assembly polls.
Tanwar started his political journey from Congress, then joined Trinamool Congress and switched to AAP. In between he also extended support to Jannayak Janta Party and joined BJP earlier this year ahead of Lok Sabha polls.
As much as this election was about Aaya Ram Gaya Ram, it was also the contest between dynasts for staking claim to the legacy in the states of three lals — Devi Lal, Bansi Lal and Bhajan Lal, as their lals (children) are facing each other on several seats to become heir apparent for the legacy.
With the onset of assembly polls in Haryana, it was again the season of Aaya Ram Gaya Ram. Ahead of assembly polls. Ahead of the elections Tosham MLA Kiran Choudhry, who had in June ended her 45-year association with Congress and joined BJP along with her daughter Shruti Chaudhary.
