Lok Sabha elections, the Tipra Motha Party (TMP) is set to join the BJP-led coalition government in Tripura. Two MLAs from the party are likely to be inducted as ministers.
This comes just days after a tripartite agreement was signed with the Centre and Tripura government to resolve all issues of the indigenous people of Tripura.
Tipra Motha has 13 MLAs in the 60-member House. A TMP leader, who refused to be named, told ET, «Senior TMP legislator Animesh Debbarma and party MLA Brishaketu Debbarma would likely take oath as Cabinet ministers.
