R Madhavan took to social media platform to thanks the Income Tax department for quick refund. «The income tax refund for our company was received within 3 weeks after filing of return for AY 2023-24. The speed and promptness is simply unheard of ..The efficiency and transparency of the income tax department is unbelievable,» he said in a post.

Some netizens agreed with actor R Madhavan. «Yes! Income Tax system has improved a leaps and bounds and it deserves all the appreciation.
There maybe a few more improvements needed but that cannot be a basis to deny the good work already done,» said one user.

To those who had not received refunds even after months, CA Ankur Jain in a post said: «Pls login and check if there is any notice/information pending to be submitted. 95% of my clients have been issued refunds within 3-4 weeks of return filing. Those who didn't, had some issue/query pending to be submitted.»
