Toyota Kirloskar Motor expands its MPV market; launches All New Toyota Rumion

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) on Thursday announced the launch of All New Toyota Rumion, a new compact MPV to boost Toyota’s presence in the market, said the automaker through its statement. The company lists features such as the K series 1.5-litre Petrol engine with Neo Drive (ISG) technology and E-CNG with fuel efficiency of 20.51 km/l for the Petrol variant and 26.11 km/kg for CNG variant of its new model. The All New Toyota Rumion will be available in six variants of S MT/AT, G MT, and V MT/AT, S MT CNG offering a wide range of options for customers, said the company in its statement. The automaker said the new compact MPV will offer customers with a choice between a 5-speed manual transmission and a smooth 6-speed automatic transmission, providing a seamless driving experience for both manual and automatic enthusiasts. Equipped with Toyota i-Connect, it offers remote control of climate, lock/unlock, hazard lights, and headlights and many more.

The All New Toyota Rumion comes with an advanced infotainment system featuring a 17.78 cm Smartplay Cast Touchscreen audio with Arkamys Surround Sense for an immersive audio experience and supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay (wireless). All New Toyota Rumion provides range of advanced safety features such as Heartect Platform, Dual front and Front seat side airbags, ABS with EBD and Brake Assist, Engine immobilizer, ESP, Hill Hold assist, and ISO Fix Child seat anchorages further enhance the safety quotient of the All New Toyota Rumion, said the company.
