Sahara Refund portal, the Union Minister for Cooperation Amit Shah transferred the first instalment of a refund of Rs 10,000 to 112 depositors who had requested it through the CRCS-Sahara Refund Portal on August 4, 2023. «The first instalment of Rs 10,000 each has been transferred to 112 beneficiaries. Till now, 18 lakh people have registered on the portal, said Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, according to the official Twitter handle of ANI.

Sahara refund: Where will the depositor get the refund?The depositor must have an Aadhaar-linked mobile number and an Aadhaar-seeded bank account to submit a claim request for a refund on the Sahara portal. Depositors cannot submit claims if the bank accounts are not linked with Aadhaar. The Aadhaar seeding will make it easier to transfer funds securely to the real depositor's bank account, according to the Sahara refund portal website.
