Trent shares rise 0.32% as Sensex slides

Trent Ltd. traded at Rs 3898.2 on BSE at 12:17PM (IST) on Tuesday, up 0.32 per cent from previous close.
The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 1307.05 and a high of Rs 4243.65.

Earlier, the stock saw a gap up opening in the morning.
A total of 7,412 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 12:17PM (IST).
The stock of Trent Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 138542.35 crore.
The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 165.58, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 18.83. Return on equity (ROE) was at 17.13 per cent, according to exchange data.
In the BSE500 pack, 288 stocks traded in the green, while 212 stocks were in the red.
Promotor Holding Promoters held 37.01 per cent in the Trent Ltd. as of 31-Dec-2023 while overseas and domestic institutional investors owned 25.91 per cent and 14.82 per cent, respectively.
