The app granted people access to a variety of services provided by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). This included:
- Checking Border Wait Times
- Applying for a Provisional I-94 Entry
- Requesting an Inspection of Agriculture or Biological Products
- Submitting a Travelers Manifest for Bus Operators.
Through a series of guided questions, the app directs you to the appropriate services based on your needs.

The CBP One mobile application was free to use and available to everyone who had access to a mobile device. You could download the app from the Apple App and Google Play stores.
