-According to reports, Laura urged President Trump to fire several NSC members, including principal deputy national security advisor Alex Wong, alleging they were disloyal. One source told CNN the firings were “a direct result of the meeting with Loomer.”
-The three dismissed officials are: Brian Walsh, director for intelligence and a former top aide to Secretary of State Marco Rubio; Thomas Boodry, senior director for legislative affairs and a former staffer for National Security Adviser Michael Waltz; and David Feith, senior director for technology and national security, who served in Trump’s first administration.
-Trump confirmed the firings at the National Security Council in a conversation with reporters on Air Force One on Thursday. «We're always going to let go of people — people we don't like or people that take advantage of [us] or people that may have loyalties to someone else,» he said.
