Trump shooting attempt: Looking forward to speak from Wisconsin this week, says former President after attack

The Republican Party is set to host the first convention of the 2024 election cycle in Wisconsin. Republicans are set to gather in Milwaukee to select Donald Trump as their presidential nominee at the party’s four-day convention starting on Monday.

«I truly love our Country, and love you all, and look forward to speaking to our Great Nation this week from Wisconsin,» said the presidential candidate through his social media account on Truth.
Commenting further, the busines tycoon said that it is important to stant united to not allow the 'Evil' to win. «In this moment, it is more important than ever that we stand United, and show our True Character as Americans, remaining Strong and Determined, and not allowing Evil to Win,» said Trump.
During the attack, one Republican supported was shot dead. «We pray for the recovery of those who were wounded, and hold in our hearts the memory of the citizen who was so horribly killed,» said Trump in his statement.
Thomas Crooks who attacked Trump:
After the attack, the FBI identified 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania as the suspect in Saturday's attempted assassination of former U.S. President Donald Trump at a campaign rally.
