UFC fight night is all set to take place on Saturday at Apex facility in Las Vegas. The main UFC fight card is scheduled to commence from 4 pm (ET). The event can be watched on ESPN+.
The big fight of the night will be between Shamil Gaziev and Jairzinho Rozenstruik. Vitor Petrino will take on Tyson Pedro. Alex Perez will fight Muhammad Mokaev.
Matt Schnell will take on Steve Erceg in UFC fight night. All eyes will also be on — Bekzat Almakhan vs Umar Nurmagomedov, Jamie Pickett vs Eryk Anders, Javid Basharat vs Aiemann Zahabi.
Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady will take on Loik Radzhabov. There will be fights between Christian Leroy Duncan and Claudio Ribeiro, and AJ Cunningham vs Ludovit Klein.
Brandon Royval beat Brandon Moreno by split decision on last Saturday night in their main event flyweight bout at UFC Fight Night in Mexico City. In a close fight, Royval (16-7-0) landed 177 total strikes and 145 significant strikes to take the cards 48-47, 46-49, 48-47.
A two-time former champion, Moreno (21-8-2) is now 0-2 in his home country of Mexico and has lost his last two fights overall.
Royval, an American who lost to UFC flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja via unanimous decision on Dec. 16 at UFC 296, called out Pantoja — who attended the event in Mexico City — for a rematch.
