Education Secretary Dibyakant Shukla has refuted rumours suggesting the leakage of state board papers on WhatsApp. He clarified that the papers circulating on WhatsApp were shared hours after the examination had concluded.
UP Board also issued a notice yesterday denying the paper leak allegations. «The Intermediate Biology and Mathematics paper was sent at 03:10 pm on a WhatsApp group named All Principles Agra by a person named Vinay Choudhary. By then the examination had been conducted in 01 hour and 10 minutes and all the candidates were giving the examination peacefully in their rooms at their respective examination centres, due to which the sanctity of the council examinations has not been affected at any level,» the official statement reads.
Recently, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Friday slammed the BJP over yet another exam paper leak incident in Uttar Pradesh, accusing the ruling party of hollowing out the foundation of crores of children and youths to save the examination mafia and corrupt people. The mathematics and biology question papers of the Uttar Pradesh class 12 board exam were allegedly shared on a WhatsApp group an hour after the examinations began on Thursday, prompting authorities to lodge a police complaint. On the complaint of the District Inspector of Schools, Agra, Dinesh Kumar, an FIR has been registered in Fatehpur Sikri.
