Upasana Kamineni Konidela recently became proud parents to daughter Klin Kaara Konidela. The couple welcomed their first child on June 20, 2023. Konidela recently gave fans a glimpse into their little daughter’s nursery. Taking to Instagram, she shared a video clip of the spectacular nursery, which is inspired by the couple’s love for nature. Along with the video, Upasana introduced her followers to “her home away from home,” and described the nursery, as a “sanctuary of healing” through the caption. Named ‘Temple Tree’, the nursery cum birthing suit is a serene, pristine room that is painted a soothing white.
Finding Splendour In MinimalismAccording to a report by the architectural magazine Architectural Digest India, the room is inspired by the Buddhist philosophy of discovering wholeness in nothingness. The nursery consists of a birthing room, an additional room for the spouse, a lounge, and a dining space.
Comfort In WhiteIn an interview with the magazine, architect Pavitra Rajaram, who had also designed the Healing Suite at Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad when Kamineni gave birth to her daughter, said that five shades of white were used to colour the room, These were white of the conch shell, and the white of the waves in the moonlight and the white of the jasmine flower, etc. This elegant ivory palette is also inspired by the Vedas and is meant to give a calming, tranquil effect.
