Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Dhami reviews development projects in Pithoragarh
Pithoragarh district.
He directed the officials to expedite the construction works of the medical college in Pithoragarh. The public representatives demanded the CM Dhami to make a shortcut route from the base hospital to the Ulka temple. CM Dhami asked the officials to submit DPR to the state government within 15 days for the same.
He also sought information regarding the under-construction parking in the district. He told the officials that all the development works should be completed within stipulated time, besides the construction of multi-level car parking at Jakhani Tiraha.
While reviewing the progress of the Dharchula-Tawaghat National Highway, he directed the BRO officers and the district administration to complete this project with a fast speed. He asked the officials to strengthen the connecting road for Adi Kailash.
According to him, more than 30,000 pilgrims visited Adi Kailash this year and this figure is likely to increase in future. He expressed his displeasure over the long pending works under the PMGSY. He gave them warning that any kind of negligence towards the works will not be tolerated.
