Varun Beverages share price down 1.4 per cent
Varun Beverages Ltd. traded 1.4 per cent up at Rs 1231.4 at around 01:12PM (IST) on Thursday. The stock had closed at Rs 1248.9 in the previous session.
Equity benchmark Sensex traded 333.26 points lower at 71167.5 around the same time.
The scrip has climbed 102.39 per cent in the last one year till date, while the 30-share index has gained 17.32 per cent during the same period.
The stock's 52-week high price stood at Rs 1380.45 and the 52-week low price at Rs 550.0.
Trading volume on the counter stood at 114,497 shares, while it quoted a price-to-earnings ratio of 81.24, an EPS value of 15.38 and a price-to-book value of 16.84. In the Nifty50 pack, 18 stocks traded in the green, while 32 stocks were in the red.
Promoter/FII Holding Promoters held 63.09 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Dec-2023, while FII and MF ownership stood at 26.58 per cent and 2.31 per cent, respectively.
Key Financials For the quarter ended 30-Sep-2023, the company reported consolidated sales of Rs 3889.02 crore, down 31.2 per cent from the previous quarter's Rs 5653.0 crore and down 22.02 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 3187.24 crore. The company reported net profit of Rs 501.07 crore for the latest quarter.
