Vedanta Ltd. fell 0.6 per cent to Rs 235.2 in Thursday's trade as of 01:34PM (IST) even as the benchmark Nifty ruled at 19344.9, down 120.1 points. The scrip had closed at Rs 236.6 in the previous session.
The stock quoted a 52-week low of Rs 232.5 and a high of Rs 340.75. The company quoted a market-cap of Rs 87410.1 crore on the BSE. On BSE, 583,288 shares have changed hands on the counter so far.
At its prevailing price, the stock traded at 9.94 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 23.65 per share and 2.59 times its book value. The return on equity (ROE) stood at Rs 26.82.Key Financials For the quarter ended 30-Jun-2023, Vedanta Ltd. reported consolidated sales of Rs 34279.0 crore, down 12.9 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
The company reported 40.29 per cent YoY de-growth in net profit at Rs 2640.0 crore for the latest quarter.Technical indicators The relative strength index (RSI) of the stock stood at Thursday.
