Uttar Pradesh Municipal Council meeting took an unexpected turn when council members engaged in a physical altercation, exchanging punches and kicks. The meeting, initially focused on discussing development projects, quickly descended into chaos, leaving municipal chairman Arvind Sangal and MLA Prasann Chaudhary in disbelief.
The clash erupted between two council members, Ajit Nirwal and Bobby, during discussions about the allocation of funds for development works amounting to four crores.
The heated exchange escalated to the point where police, including station in-charge Samaypal Atri, had to intervene to restore order.
Former UP CM and Samajwadi Party leader, Akhilesh Yadav, seized the moment to mock the BJP. Sharing the viral video on Twitter, Yadav sarcastically remarked on the apparent lack of development work, suggesting that the physical altercation was a consequence of the dissatisfaction with the review meeting.
Akhilesh Yadav's tweet mockingly stated, «When no development work has been done, then what else could have happened in the review meeting? That is why physical blows were exchanged amongst the councillors in Shamli.
