Reacting to the PM's remarks, Mallikarjun Kharge, the Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, condemned the association made between the opposition and terrorist organizations. He asserted that while the divide between the government and opposition had persisted for years, it was now evident that division existed even within the government itself. He expressed deep dismay at PM Modi's characterization of the INDIA alliance as directionless.
