Anushka explained that the early dinner routine began out of sheer practicality. Her daughter Vamika would regularly want to eat dinner around 5:30 PM, leaving Anushka alone with her during this time. “It started out as convenience because my daughter would want her dinner early. She would eat around 5.30, and most of the time it would be just me and her home alone. So, I’d think, ‘What am I going to do now? Might as well sleep,’” she shared humorously.
What started as a practical choice soon became a consistent habit. Over time, the family noticed significant benefits from this change in routine, leading both Virat and Anushka to embrace it fully. “It was out of convenience, but it’s now something the entire family does,” she revealed, adding that the shift positively impacted her health.
Anushka noted that the early meal routine has had a tremendous impact on her overall well-being. From improved sleep to feeling more refreshed in the morning, she highlighted how this small change made a big difference. “I started to see the benefits—I slept better, felt fresher in the morning, and there was less brain fog,” she said, emphasizing how important it has been for her mental and physical health.
The early dinners have now become a part of her family’s daily routine, even for Virat. This habit, initially born out of convenience for their daughter, has proven to offer a healthy lifestyle change for the entire family.
