Coldplay’s Historic Performance in India
During the weekend of January 25–26, Coldplay staged the largest stadium concert of the 21st century in Ahmedabad, India. The two-night spectacle attracted an overwhelming 223,000 attendees, making it a landmark event in live music history.
One concertgoer who experienced the electrifying atmosphere firsthand described it as an immersive encounter with Coldplay’s music on a profound level.
“The stadium is so enormous that standing inside makes you feel like a tiny speck,” she shared. “[That] actually complemented their setlist perfectly, as many of their songs invite you to feel a deep sense of unity with the crowd.”
A particularly heartwarming moment unfolded when the band performed Human Heart, the sixth track from Music of the Spheres. A couple among the audience surprised each other with simultaneous marriage proposals.
