Even since President Trump came to power at the White House, he has been going on about conducting illegal immigration crackdowns in record numbers, but as far as recent reports go, he is not quite content with the current arrest figures by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, who is falling short of administration's goals. ICE kept posting their arrest numbers on a regular basis but the current month has seen their stats sagging, according to The Washington Post's report.
As a new measure, President Trump now wants a majority of federal employees, even from the Internal Revenue Service to put their heads together to look for more potential detainees. Meanwhile, Trump’s designated “border czar,” Tom Homan has said that he is to happy with the current numbers and needs more to be put up on the board. Meanwhile, there is some reshuffling going on within the ICE as well due to the lack of 'performance'.
