Virgin River Season 5 will be released on November 30, 2023. The romantic drama series that has been adapted from the beloved novels by Robyn Carr, has been successful with its ten episodes being watched by millions of people. Till now Sue Tenney has managed the adaptation, but from this season onwards, Patrick Sean Smith will be the showrunner.

Talking to 'Glamor Magazine', Patrick Sean Smith, the new showrunner for Virgin River season 5 said that the holiday episodes are a little bit lighter. He explained that if it was going to be a holiday gift to the audience, it should be fun. Patrick Sean Smith said further that what Mel and Jack are going through in those two episodes is like the scavenger hunt through the Virgin River trying to track down the man who is her biological father.

Christmas tree light competition
Speaking to Netflix, actor Martin Henderson said that everyone comes together around the holidays, teasing a Christmas tree light competition and ice-skating and snowflakes.
