Voltas shares decline 0.08% as Sensex climbs
Voltas Ltd. traded at Rs 1096.85 on BSE at 01:44PM (IST) on Tuesday, down 0.08 per cent from previous close.
The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 745.0 and a high of Rs 1114.85.
Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap down opening in the morning.
A total of 94,387 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 01:44PM (IST).
The stock of Voltas Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 36271.59 crore.
The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 129.78, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 4.96. Return on equity (ROE) was at 2.47 per cent, according to exchange data.
In the BSE500 pack, 264 stocks traded in the green, while 236 stocks were in the red.
Promotor Holding Promoters held 30.3 per cent in the Voltas Ltd. as of 31-Dec-2023 while foreign and domestic institutional investors owned 17.18 per cent and 36.9 per cent, respectively.
