Voltas shares gain 0.09% as Sensex falls
Voltas Ltd. traded at Rs 802.05 on BSE at 11:01AM (IST) on Thursday, up 0.09 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 737.6 and a high of Rs 1050.55.
Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap down opening. At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 196.22 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 4.08 per share and 4.96 times its book value, as per BSE data. A total of 66,489 shares changed hands on the counter till 11:01AM (IST).
The stock commands a market value of Rs 26492.29 crore and is part of the Air Conditioners industry. The scrip has been an underperformer, down 18.35 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 12.95 per cent gain in Sensex.
