Nicole is the adopted daughter of Peter Buffett, son of Warren Buffett. Nicole's mother married to Peter when she was 4. In 2008, in an article by Marie Claire titled The Billionaire's Black Sheep, Nicole shared the impact of being disowned by her grandfather. Growing up, She enjoyed holidays and breaks with her grandfather, savoring the benefits of Buffett lifestyle. She recounted that when she was 5 ,Warren gave her $100 bill for Christmas and arranged a privater tour for her in See's Candies factory.
