Nicole is the adopted daughter of Peter Buffett, son of Warren Buffett. Nicole's mother married to Peter when she was 4. In 2008, in an article by Marie Claire titled The Billionaire's Black Sheep, Nicole shared the impact of being disowned by her grandfather.
