Netflix is set to debut Warrior in February 2024, presenting an opportunity for the series to gain new viewers. In an exclusive report from Deadline, sources suggest that if the show performs well on Netflix, the streaming giant might consider ordering a new season based on an original concept and treatment by Bruce Lee.
This development marks Warrior's third home in as many years. Initially premiering on Cinemax in 2019, the series ran for two seasons before the network announced its departure from the Originals business in early 2020.
Earlier in December, Netflix for the first time published detailed viewing figures about thousands of its shows and movies, offering an unprecedented glimpse into the world-leading streaming platform's top hits and highest-profile flops.
The report, which Netflix says will be repeated every six months, is a major departure for a company that has historically guarded its data closely, but came under renewed pressure to be more transparent during strikes this year by Hollywood writers' and actors' unions.
