Talking to Fox News Digital, he also said he thinks «the woke mind virus» figuratively killed his son. Vivian Musk came out as transgender in June 2022 when he was 18-year-old and he filed a request to change his name from Xavier to Vivian and take her mother's last name.

He said further that COVID-19 was going on, there was a lot of confusion and he was told Xavier might commit suicide.
