The DJB notice highlights the impact on water supply in various areas originating from the Sonia Vihar facility, stating, «Due to the installation of a flowmeter in the South Delhi rising main at Sonia Vihar WTP and other maintenance works, the water supply in South Delhi will be impacted for 16 hours. Water supply will not be available on January 18 from 10 am until the morning of January 19.»
Residents are urged to make necessary arrangements for an adequate water supply during this period.
