Weather forecast in US: Storm, snow predicted to impact flights, road travel ahead of Christmas
During the holidays, the airways and roads are going to be busy to a great extent. This is because over 115 million people are predicted to be travelling 50 miles or greater than that from their homes starting from Christmas to New Year’s Day as reported by AAA.

Friday
The storm that troubled California this week, has moved to the East, leading to turbulent weather in the north in Wisconsin and Michigan and in the south in Oklahoma with the volume of rain in the Upper Mississippi Valley. Moreover, wet weather conditions in the West can cause trouble for travel plans in Phoenix and Seattle.
According to AAA, the nation’s most busy airports will be occupied by travellers during the holidays.
Saturday
Heavy snow may occur in some parts of the Rockies causing much trouble for travellers on Saturday and leading to delays in flights for those who are travelling across Salt Lake City. Flight delays are also forecasted for those travelling in Albuquerque, Montana, New Mexico, the Dallas-Fort Worth area in Texas, Billings
Sunday
By Christmas Eve, the potential for snowfall will be moving towards the East in the Northern Plains. This can lead to travellers who are going to airports including Denver International Airport facing some delays. Flooding rain, and heavy snow coming with the Central US storm, can cause trouble for those travelling during Christmas.
In addition, a round of storms extending from Minnesota to Texas may result in some delays at the Kansas City International Airport, Minneapolis St Paul International Airport, and the Dallas Worth International Airport.
